Not working on VS2010 Ultimate

description

Can't seem to get this working, try all combinations of settings - it incremented from 0 to 1 then stopped... shame, looks like a useful tool.

This looks like an invalid report so I'm closing it. By the way I must write that I don't really understand if this is a real issue or a case where you just don't understand that the latest version of BVI (beta) doesn't update version if project files were not modified - maybe that was the problem. For example it can work as written above: incremented once (saw changes) then stopped because no changes were done. Please be beware of this functionality.Of course I should test it so please prepare a sample project which I can use to reproduce the issue - please reopen or create another issue with this subject.

I had the same issue. Recompiling 2.4 works for me...

Could you post this recompiled version, please?

The recompiled Add-In is available at: http://www.crea-doo.at/weblog/2011/04/26/automatically-use-subversion-revision-as-version-in-net-projects/ (one of the last links in the post)

thank you, Creadoo.

unfortunatly, this recompiled add-in is also not incrementing the build number.

I have it set to always use global and only the build field to increment.
This field is not being incremented.

never mind my last comment, I hadn't noticed the settings "Update assembly version" and "Update file version" were set to false.
Must have changed with SP1, since I didn't do it...I think.....
